"Ugadi Pachadi" is also known as "Gusi Padwa", and ugadi/gudi padwa is New year's for the Deccan Region people of india, normally celebratd by Telugu, Kannadigas, Marathi, Manipuri Konkani, Balinese people. Normally this festival comes in March, April.

This year, Gudi padwa celebrates on 8th April, 2016, Ugadi marks the first day of the new year. Chaitra is the first month in Panchanga which is the Indian calendar. In some parts of India it is known as Vikram Samvat or Bhartiya Nav Varsh.
